Second Community-Wide Prayer event set for Friday

CARNESVILLE – The Franklin County School System held its first community-wide prayer Friday morning. The event was held on Facebook Live around 10:30 a.m.
The Franklin County School System announced Friday that students will not return until April 13. The system also announced a schedule for students to pick up work for the next two weeks.

System supplying meals while school suspended

CARNESVILLE – Even though school is out for the foreseeable future, the Franklin County School System is still providing meals to children.
By order of Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, all schools in the state will be shut until March 31.

CARNESVILLE – What started out as a wait-and-see approach by the Franklin County School System about whether or not to close county schools quickly turned into a complete shutdown until at least the end of the month. By order of Georgia Gov.
Franklin County students will attend school Monday through Wednesday of next week and be out for student holidays March 19-20.

CARNESVILLE - The Franklin County School System will remain open next week. The Franklin County Board of Education held an emergency called meeting Friday morning to discuss Gov. Brian Kemp’s Thursday announcement about the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
