Bridges makes moves to strengthen girls’ progam

Samuel wins at world championship

By Samantha Sinclair Staff Writer   NAPLES, Fla. – Jonathan Samuel came home from the Pro Watercross National and World Championships with five trophies. Both events were held Nov. 4-7 in Naples, after the National Championship in Lake Charles, La., had to be postponed due to weather.
Five Lady Lions were named first-team All-Region, led by Jayden Gailey who was Player of the Year.

Region 8AAA schools not affected by reclassification

By Shane Scoggins Publisher   There will likely be few changes in Franklin County’s region opponents over the next two years. The Georgia High School Association released its latest reclassification numbers this week, and  there are no major changes to the members of Franklin’s Region 8AAA.

Strong season

A bounce back season for the Franklin County Middle School Cubs football program ended just shy of a region championship Thursday in Danielsville. The Cubs fell 28-0 to the Madison County Middle School Mustangs in the NEGIAA championship game.
