ATHENS – Athens Technical College Automotive Technology Program Chair Arlen Hart on was awarded the World Class Technician status by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Hart, who lives in Carnesville, has been teaching at Athens Tech since 2016.

County manager to leave Aug. 29

Students and teachers are preparing to return to the classroom next week. The first day of school is Friday, Aug. 4. All elementary schools and Franklin County Middle School have posted supply lists for each grade and subject.
