Lady Lions bow out in state’s first round

By Shane ScogginsPublisher The 2025 season for Franklin Fastpitch ended last week with a loss in the first round of the state playoffs.Franklin fell 18-6 and 16-7 in back-to-back games to the rival Hart County Lady Bulldogs in Hartwell to be eliminated from the state tournament.

Cross country teams hold final home meet

Members of the team are Mia Altreche, Enslee Stowers, Molly Fitzgerald, Allison Carroll, Bryleigh White, Callie Frady, Chandler Johnson, Epiphany Mayfield, Sydney Carson, Kallie Thrift, Arrihanna Linder, Brooklyn Smith, Avery Burton and Brooklyn Smith. The team is coached by Amber Adams and Erin Burton.
