Franklin Cross Country’s final tune up for the Region 8AAA meet was a successful one.

The state fastpitch softball playoffs begin Monday. The Franklin County Lady Lions will be in the field, either as a host of a super regional or on the road at the Region 7AAA champion’s field.

The state fastpitch softball playoffs begin Monday.

The Cubs defeated Rabun 30-0 to advance to the NEGIAA region championship game next week against either Hart County or Madison County, who will meet today in the other region semifinal.
