The Lions and their fans will have plenty of support on the sidelines this season. The Franklin County varsity football cheerleaders are strong in number and plan to wow fans with some new moves this football season.

After a first season that began in a rush and ended with a 3-7 record, with three very close losses to good teams, the Franklin County Lions and Head Coach Paul Sutherland are looking to go farther in 2019.

Lions open 2019 season on the road at Indians

The 2019 Franklin County Lions football season kicks off Friday at 7:30 p.m. in The Reservation in Toccoa. The Lions will face one of their most familiar foes and biggest rivals, the Stephens County Indians, a squad that is looking to build off of a playoff appearance last season.
