Jackson posts highest Franklin finish at state middle school meet
The Lions and Lady Lions had strong showings at their final home meet of the season Thursday at the Franklin County course on High Road. The Lions won the team title at Thursday’s race.

Marching Pride holds first band competition
The Franklin County High School Marching Pride band will host the Pridelands Marching Contest Saturday at Jeff Davis Field at Ed Bryant Stadium. Fourteen bands from around the state will compete.
