By Shane Scoggins Publisher   Chances to avenge two of their three losses this season await the Franklin County Lady Lions tonight and Friday in the Lion’s Den in Carnesville. Franklin will host Apalachee tonight at 6 p.m. and Commerce Friday at 7 p.m.
On Nov. 22, Franklin hosted the Lions Thanksgiving Tournament and took first place in the 10-team duals tournament with an undefeated record.

By Shane Scoggins Publisher   Franklin County Wrestling had plenty to be grateful for over the Thanksgiving holiday. The team earned team and individual honors over the holiday off week. On Nov. 22, Franklin hosted the Lions Thanksgiving Tournament at Rocky Ford Park in Carnesville.
The Lions fell 50-46 Saturday to Forsyth Central in Mount Airy, in a game played as part of the North Georgia Showcase event at Habersham Central High School.
