By Shane Scoggins Publisher   The Franklin County Lions finished fourth in the state duals tournament Saturday for the second year in a row. The Lions swept their way to the state duals semifinals Friday night with victories over Adairsville and Coahulla Creek.

By Shane Scoggins Publisher   The Franklin County Lions proved Friday night that they can be competitive with the top teams in the state and will be a factor in Region 8AAA in 2024. The Lions defeated then No. 5-ranked Monroe Area 62-55 in the Lion’s Den. Franklin led throughout.
