The Franklin County Lions opened the 2024 football season Friday with a close 27-21 loss to Chestatee at Jeff Davis Field at Ed Bryant Stadium. The game began with the recognition of football players and cheerleaders from the Franklin County Recreation Department, who lined up to welcome Keyes Harbin (No. 33) and his Lion teammates.
