Beard signs to continue soccer career at Toccoa Falls

By Tanner Howard Correspondent   Franklin County Lady Lion Haleigh Beard accepted a soccer scholarship to Toccoa Falls College Thursday at a signing ceremony at Franklin County High School.  In her junior year, Beard had four goals for the Lady Lions and was named second-team All-Region 8AAA.

Franklin girls to face Valdosta in showcase

By Shane Scoggins Publisher   The Franklin County Lady Lions will face a big opponent Saturday in the North Oconee Showcase in Bogart. Franklin will face the Valdosta Lady Wildcats at noon in the showcase. Valdosta is 4-5 this season but plays in the state’s largest AAAAAA classification.
