Lion Peeples signs with Georgia Bulldogs Baseball

By Tanner Howard Correspondent   Franklin County High School senior Ty Peeples has been awarded a baseball scholarship to the University of Georgia.  Peeples accepted the scholarship at his signing ceremony, which took place Friday at the high school.

Lions fall to Hart to end football season

By Shane Scoggins Publisher   A potentially program-changing season for the Franklin County Lion football program ended Friday night in Hartwell. Franklin fell 29-9 to the rival Hart County Bulldogs to finish the 2024 season with a 3-7 record.
