By Shane ScogginsPublisher One Franklin County soccer team will have its dreams of a home playoff game on the line Friday, while the other will have its hopes for the state playoffs at stake.And both games will be against archrival Hart County at Jeff Davis Field at Ed Bryant Stadium.

By Shane Scoggins Publisher   The Franklin County Lion baseball team went into Wednesday’s home game with Prince Avenue looking for a victory that will keep their hopes alive in the three-game series with the two-time Class A state champion.
The Franklin County Lady Lions ran to a first place finish Thursday in a five-team track meet at East Jackson High School, while the boys’ team finished second.
