Wilkinson to resign after five year tenure

By Gillian Raese Staff Writer CARNESVILLE—Franklin County High School Principal Roger Wilkinson is leaving the Franklin County School System after five years in his position. His resignation, effective May 30, was announced during Monday night’s Board of Education(BOE) work session.

By Gillian Raese Staff Writer CARNESVILLE – Three Franklin County School System programs have received state grants. The Franklin County High School band and theater programs and the system’s adaptive PE program each received state funding.
The city is picking up unwanted white goods and disposing of them for free. The free service is part of ongoing city efforts to clean up and make the two more attractive.

From staff reports The City of Royston and a local group of Realtors are doing their part this week to clean up the community. Royston is sponsoring a free cleanup week through Friday. The city is picking up unwanted white goods and disposing of them for free.
