Toys for Tots seeks volunteers for season

By Samantha Sinclair Staff Writer   Royston — Martha Prather and her team of Dee Neal, Katherine Fletcher and Gale Griffin were hard at work last week pulling toys off shelves and out of bins to fill the Christmas wish lists of local children.

By Samantha Sinclair Staff Writer   Carnesville — A man was arrested Tuesday after his actions caused an elementary school to go on lockdown. Daryl Keith Davis, 58, of Martin was charged with disruption or interference with the operation of a public school.
