From staff reports   Franklin County voters will pick the winners of two seats on the county commission and two posts on the board of education Tuesday in the May 24 primaries. County polling places will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.

By Samantha Sinclair Staff Writer   LAVONIA — Ashton Cooper had a 4.0 when he graduated from Franklin County High School four years ago, and is once again graduating with a 4.0, this time from the University of Georgia on Friday.
