Two charged for false report of store robbery

CARNESVILLE – Two people have been arrested for a 2015 theft from a Carnesville convenience store. In May 2015, a store clerk at the Chevron Royal Food Store at 9508 Lavonia Road in Carnesville contacted Franklin County 911 to report an armed robbery of the store.

CARNESVILLE – One man suffered serious injuries last week when his car was rear-ended and pushed into a stopped school bus. No children suffered any serious injuries in the accident. Around 7 a.m.

CARNESVILLE – Franklin County’s clerk has filed an ethics complaint against the chairman of the board of commissioners and a member of the Franklin-Hart Airport Authority. County Clerk Elaine Evans filed the complaint with the Franklin County Board of Ethics after an Oct.

CARNESVILLE – Franklin County Schools Superintendent Chris Forrer has previously stated he wants to address rumors whenever he learns about them. That’s exactly what he did Thursday night during the Franklin County Board of Education’s work session.
