Local couple witnesses response to Queen's death

Royston, Canon plan fall festivals next month

Canon’s Harvest Festival will be Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Depot Street will be filled with both craft and food vendors for the event. The event will also include inflatables for kids from Jumpingwithus, as well as a cake walk.

Guilty plea

By Samantha Sinclair Staff Writer   CARNESVILLE — Gabrielle Beutler pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges from both Franklin and Hart counties and was sentenced to 15 years of probation with two years to serve in prison, and ordered to pay restitution which would be determined at a later date.

Head over heels fun at festival

CARNESVILLE – The annual Carnesville Fall Festival and Fair was held Friday and Saturday at Carnesville City Park. The festival and fair drew good crowds, City Council Member Patsy Watkins said, though rain dampened attendance at times on Saturday.
