The verdict in the trial of Rayfondia Craft for the murder of Lavonia businessman Sam Harbin will be delivered today at 10 a.m. in the courtroom of the Franklin County Courthouse.

A $6 million bid for work to improve pressure in natural gas lines was approved Tuesday by the Royston City Council.

The trial of Rayfondia Rashon Craft for the murder of Sam Harbin will continue into a second week beginning July 8, following a week-long break for the Independence Day holiday.

Franklin County reminded its water customers this week to continue to conserve water.
