It is a Republican belief that the best way to serve the public good is to slash taxes and regulations because that would enable the very wealthy to accumulate capital they would then invest more efficiently in the economy; therefore helping everyone, maybe.

Sewer decision not short-sighted or disappointing

This letter is in response to the editorial in last week’s paper by the editor. I have a grievance with the article.  First of all Commissioners Busby, Jacques and Franklin are not short sighted nor disappointing.  They were elected by the county and in my opinion they are doing a good job.
