Lady Lions host Coahulla Creek for first round of state
The Coahulla Creek Lady Colts will visit Franklin County High School for a best-of-three series beginning Wednesday. Games are at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. A third game, if necessary, will be Thursday at 5 p.m.
The Franklin County Lady Lions, pictured celebrating a Jaden Cheek home run during the region championship game, will host Coahulla Creek Wednesday for a doubleheader in the first round of the state tournament.
The hunt for a second-straight state softball championship by the Franklin County Lady Lions will begin Wednesday in Carnesville.
And the first hurdle in the state tournament will be a tough one.
