Franklin All-Star squads claim District 7 titles

Franklin County Little League’s 9-11 All-Star team won the District 7 championship and will begin play in the state tournament July 5. Team members are Christopher McLendon, Dank Crane, Karson Adams, Will Oliver, Gavin Harris, Hayden Harvey, Greyson Stovall, Wyatt Veal, Rhett Davison, Brentley Hewatt and Teller Cabe. Cody Oliver is the team’s manager, and Galen Adams and Will Cabe are coaches.

Franklin County Little League Sandlot team members are Cody Stratton, Maverick Fuller, Cooper Freeman, Fisher Ashworth, Bradley Kirk, Bentley Farmer, Wyatt Oliver, Kayne Wallace, Luke Ramey, Slate Westbrook, Arie Fuller and Rhett Veal. Kyle Westbrook managed the team and was assisted by coaches Justin Freeman and Roger Fuller. The team won the District 7 title and advanced to a sectional tournament.

Members of the District 7 champion Franklin County Little League Sandlot Softball team are Sariyah Blackwell, Rhyan Farmer, Kamilla Richardson, Palmer Burns, McKenah Fulghum, Ellie Kendrick, Ansley Moon, Liv Kilgore, Ensley Patrick, Olivia Fowler, Dessie Human and Sadie Daniels. The team is managed by Sarah Farmer and coached by Mackenzie Burns and Myca Richardson.
