LAVONIA - Thursday is going to be a busy day for the Lavonia Police Department.

Starting at 5 p.m., the police department and the Lavonia Lions Club will be hosting its annual Lavonia Night Out Against Crime until 8 p.m. in downtown Lavonia.

There will be free food, face painting and lots of fun.

The Blood Connection will be near the Gazebo beginning at 3 p.m. and all donors will receive a free $10 gift card from Chick-fil-A.
