Lavonia Police Chief Bruce Carlisle was in Atlanta last week to be sworn in to a state office by Gov. Brian Kemp.
On Dec. 14, Gov. Nathan Deal appointed Carlisle to the Board of Public Safety as the representative for the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP).
Lavonia Police Chief Bruce Carlisle is surrounded by family as he his sworn in as the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police (GACP) representative on the Board of Public Safety by Gov. Brian Kemp on Aug. 29. Carlisle is serving a three-year term and was appointed to the position by both Gov. Nathan Deal and Gov. Kemp.
