CARNESVILLE – The Franklin County High School Hosa group sponsored its annual Knight for a Cause fundraiser, which raised $4,000 for Thea Hodges to use to alleviate her financial strain in the midst of a battle against breast cancer. Waylon Cheek (left with Hodges) raised the most – more than $1,000 – and was named King for a Cause before Friday night’s final home football game. Participants in the fundraiser were (below, from left) Cheek, Landon Floyd, Max Bridges, Riley Moon, J’Kwon Thornton, Triet Nguyen, Ben Hardman, Sam Sigala and Keilin Sanders.
