The cities of Royston, Lavonia and Canon plan to hold Easter egg hunts Saturday.
• Royston
The annual Royston Easter egg hunt will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Royston Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 4828.
The Easter bunny will arrive at 10:15 a.m.
The hunt is sponsored by the Royston Downtown Development Authority, VFW Post 4828 and the Lake Hartwell Shrine Club.
The VFW Post is on Highway 29 between Royston Diagnostic and Royston Ace Hardware.
The city will post any changes to the schedule on its Facebook page later this week as it monitors the weather for Saturday.
• Lavonia
Chick-fil-A of Lavonia, Lavonia Church of God, and the Lavonia Downtown Development Authority will host an Easter Egg Hunt Saturday at the Lavonia City Park located behind City Hall.
Registration will start at 1:30 and the hunt will begin around 2:15.
Each child will get a wrist band which will color coordinate with their age group: 0-4 is orange, 5-8 is blue and 9-12 is green.
Visits with the Easter Bunny, Baby Cow, Mr. Twister the Clown, face painting, a bouncy house, and First Readers will be available until 4 p.m.
The Lavonia City Park will be closed to the public Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. in preparation for the festivities.
Parking is available at the Moose Lodge on Joe Harvey Street.

• Canon.
The City of Canon will hold its annual Easter egg hunt April 8 at 4 p.m. at Canon City Park on Depot Street.
The egg hunt will be held weather permitting.
