BOE votes 3-2 to reject superintendent’s choice for new Royston site
After Superintendent Chris Forrer recommended Tuesday night that the Franklin County Board of Education pursue the purchase of property on Dovetown Road. for a new Royston Elementary School, the motion failed 3-2, with no public discussion about the property during the meeting.

CARNESVILLE — The perfect piece of property for Royston Elementary School is out there, but the Franklin County Board of Education hasn’t found it yet.
