A 4-year-old boy, inspired by a classic TV show, called for help for his babysitter during a recent medical emergency.
Abel Martin learned the importance of the Batphone by watching reruns of the Batman television show from the 1960s.
For Christmas, he got his own red Batphone and learned to call one number, his grandfather Tony Chitwood.
Recently, Abel’s babysitter fell ill.
Abel used his Batphone to call his grandfather, who he calls “T Pa,” and told him to come quick. He then called a second time to make sure that help was on the way.
The babysitter was taken to the hospital and is now doing well.
“Thank Heaven for a little boy and his red Batman phone,” the babysitter said.
