Council approves Scout plans for park

  • Lavonia Boy Scout Troop 51 members retire one of 15 worn American flags left in the flag retirement box during a flag retirement ceremony Monday at Lavonia Memorial Park. The ceremony was held following a fire pit dedication Monday night. Replacing the fire pit at the park was J.T. Strickland’s Eagle Scout project.
