CARNESVILLE – Work on power lines will mean overnight power outages for Carnesville next week.
Georgia Power will be working to improve reliability in the Carnesville area on the morning of Feb. 7.
“In order for our crews to perform the work safely, the line must be de-energized,” a press release from Georgia Power said.
The outage will occur Feb. 7 starting at midnight and ending at 4 a.m.
Bad weather could cause the outage to be postponed.
Streets that will be affected are Georgia Highway 59 and Georgia Highway 106 from the courthouse towards the IGA, Commerce Road, Nora Moss Lane, Harrison Bridge Road, Old Commerce Road, Ginn Street and Athens Street.
