LAVONIA – The Pilot Club of Lavonia will hold a dinner and silent auction Jan. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at Sweet Combs of Honey to benefit the club’s park project.
The club is working to raise funds for new handicapped-accessible equipment at Lavonia Memorial Park behind city hall.
The event will include dinner catered by local chefs.
The menu will include gumbo and rice, pork tenderloin, twice baked potato, rainbow carrots, asparagus, crusty bread and bread pudding.
Tickets are $100 per person. All proceeds will go to the park project.
