Bitten by Summer Reading

LAVONIA – Both the Lavonia-Carnegie Library and the Royston Public Library were visited by the museum, which provides a quick field trip experience. Children in the libraries’ Summer Reading Program got to see shark jaws, view sea creatures in 3-D, and learn about folk tales and the science of the ocean. The Summer Reading Program, themed Oceans of Possibility, continues throughout the summer. For details, contact the Lavonia-Carnegie Library at 706-356-4307 or the Royston Public Library at 706-245-6748. (Photos by Sinclair)
