Royston will cap off the Franklin County Christmas parade season Saturday evening.
Royston’s Christmas Parade of Lights will be held Saturday at 5 p.m.
The city planned its first Parade of Lights last year, but the parade was canceled due to concerns over the coronavirus.
The parade will line up on Old Elbert Road, proceed down Highway 17, turn onto Highway 29 and continue until the Dill’s Shopping Center.
The parade will follow a day-long Royston Christmas Market Dec. 11 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. at The Depot on Railroad Street.
Unique items will be available for sale for everyone.

The city of Martin will hold its second annual Martin Winterfest Dec. 10 from 6-8 p.m. at Martin Baptist Church at 751 Red Hollow Road.
Local choirs and a soloist will sing at the church, followed by the Lighting of the Martin Woman’s Club Christmas Tree with carols being sung.

The Martin Historic District Tour of Homes will be held Dec. 12 from 1-5 p.m.
The tour begins at the Pope Yow House at 831 Red Hollow Road.
Tickets are $10 with children ages 10 and under free.
