Volleyball Lady Lions net first ever victory

The Franklin County volleyball program has checked most of its “first-ever” accomplishments. The Lady Lions had their first games in 2018 during their first season, at the end of which they graduated their first senior class. On Monday, the team got its first win, a 3-0 win over Barnes Academy in Carnesville.

Things are a little more familiar for the Franklin County Marching Pride Band this football season. Director Christopher Sampson is in his second year at the head of the band, so his returning band students know what to expect from him.
Members of the 2019-20 Franklin County varsity football cheerleaders are Alex Henry, Allie Pilgrim, Alyssa Ellard, Amberlin Mitchell, Anna Varner, Austin Norris, Ava Hylton, Breanna Dickerson, Carson Bridges, Cheyanne Cummings, Claire Conner, Grace Adcock, Gracie Davis, Gracie Thomas, Holly Evans, Kori Esco, MacKenzie Whatley, Olivia York, Perrin Floyd, Raegan Hayes, Tara Locke, Trista Williams and Zoe Saavedra.
