Seeking a superintendent
CARNESVILLE – The Franklin County Board of Education is officially now looking for a new superintendent.
Tuesday night during their regular meeting, the board voted to begin the search.
The school board is seeking to replace current Superintendent Wayne Randall, who will retire at the end of the school year.
Randall announced his retirement in December after being told that a majority of the board would not renew his contract after this year.
The board approved using the Georgia School Board Association to conduct the search.
