The Franklin County Lions baseball team will play Saturday in the semifinals of the state Class AAA baseball playoffs against Appling County. The Lions will host a doubleheader, with the first game beginning at 5 p.m. Franklin advanced to the state’s Final Four for the first time since 1977 with a sweep of Long County Monday in Carnesville.
