‘Forever Plaid’ on stage this weekend

LAVONIA – Savannah River Productions presents Forever Plaid Aug. 19-21 and Aug. 26-28. The show is a comedic musical revue featuring a four-part harmony guy group killed on the way to their first big gig. The production stars Seth Howard as Frankie, Josh Bryan as Sparky, Chris Shoaf as Smudge and Glynn Segars as Jinx. Andrea Bradford directs and plays piano as Casey Middlebrooks plays bass. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinee are at 2:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for students, and available at savannahriverproductions.org or by calling 706-376-7397.
