All proceeds will go to offset the family’s financial costs.
The Run for Rodney 5K will begin at 8 a.m., with raffle and awards at 9:30 a.m.
Entry fee is $30.
Registration forms are available at Carroll’s Quick Lube in Lavonia, by email at run4rodney5k@gmail.com or online at runsignup.com/Race/GA/Royston/RunforRodney5K.
The race will begin at the Royston Police Department, take back streets before crossing Highway 29 and proceeding to the Royston Wellness and Community Park. Participants will make one loop of the park’s walking trail before reaching the finish line.
